About the player
Raki Aouani came through the academy at Étoile Sportive du Sahel and stayed to make his mark there before his move abroad. He was part of the squad that won the Tunisian league title in the 2022/23 season.
Riga FC moved for him in January 2026, a transfer that took him from North Africa into Latvian football.
He also played a part in the Latvian Super Cup.
On the international stage, Aouani has represented Tunisia at youth level, turning out for the under-20 side, and has been called into the senior national team's squad during World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches, though a competitive debut for the first team had not yet arrived by the time of his move to Europe.
