About the player
Renny Salén Jaramillo Barre came up through Independiente del Valle's system, joining in 2015 after a spell at Universidad Católica the year before. He stayed with the club until 2020, spending much of that stretch out on loan — first at Juventud Estudiantil in Esmeraldas, then at Alianza Cotopaxi, Independiente Juniors and 9 de Octubre, moving between sides as he tried to establish himself as a first-team regular.
A permanent switch to 9 de Octubre followed for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, before Jaramillo joined Delfín in Manta, where he played from 2023 to 2025. In January 2026 he moved on to Orense SC.
Jaramillo has represented Ecuador at under-17 and under-20 level but has not been called up to the senior national side.
Off the pitch, he took legal action against Aucas in 2026, suing the club over unpaid wages, according to Futbol Ecuador.
