About the player
Rami Al Hajj was born in Beirut, coming through the Falkenbergs FF academy. His move to SC Heerenveen in 2020 took him to the Netherlands for three seasons, before a free transfer sent him to Odense Boldklub in Denmark in 2023.
A year later Al Hajj crossed to England, joining Plymouth Argyle in a deal reported by the Plymouth Herald at around £840,000. The switch marked his first taste of English football, though the stay lasted only a season before he returned to Denmark in 2025, this time with Silkeborg IF in an agreement that included a sell-on clause.
Eligible for Sweden through his upbringing there, Al Hajj represented the country at both under-19 and under-21 level, scoring twice in a combined twelve youth appearances. A call-up to the senior squad followed for a friendly against Estonia in January 2024, though he has yet to win his first full cap.
