Renato Marin

Renato Marin arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2025 with no transfer fee attached: his contract at Roma had expired. He had come through Roma's academy after moving to Italy as a child, and though he was named in the matchday squad 27 times, he did not make a competitive appearance for the first team.

At PSG, Marin joined as the club's third-choice goalkeeper. The wait for a debut did not last long. On 20 December 2025, he was picked to start against Fontenay in the French Cup, a match PSG won 4-0.

The following months brought only sporadic involvement. By May 2026, Marin had featured in three matches for PSG — two in Ligue 1 and one in the French Cup. He was part of the squad through a season in which the club won Ligue 1, the French Super Cup, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, though he did not appear in any of those finals.

In July 2026, PSG sent him out on loan to Portuguese side Nacional for the 2026/27 season, without an option to buy.

Marin holds both Italian and Brazilian nationality. Between 2023 and 2024, he made 12 appearances for the Italy under-19 side, including qualifiers and the finals of the 2024 European Under-19 Championship.
