About the player
Serhii Chobotenko grew up in Zaporizhzhia and joined the academy of Metalurh Zaporizhzhia there before moving on, in 2012, to Dynamo Kyiv's youth setup.
Chobotenko joined Polessya in July 2023. He was part of the Polessya squad that finished third in the Ukrainian championship in the 2025–26 season.
He has not been capped by the senior Ukraine national team, though he came through its youth ranks, appearing for the under-16, under-17, under-18, under-19 and under-20 sides.
