Tomás Pochettino

Tomás Pochettino came through the Boca Juniors academy and made his first-team debut on 8 November 2015 against Rosario Central. Boca sent him out on loan to Defensa y Justicia, where he debuted in February 2016, before a further loan took him to Talleres in 2018. The Córdoba club later made that move permanent, and Pochettino scored his first goal for Talleres on 2 March 2020, against Patronato.

In February 2021 he moved to Austin FC as a Designated Player, an arrival that placed him among the MLS club's marquee signings. He made his debut in the competition on 17 April 2021 against Los Angeles FC. The following year brought a return home: a loan to River Plate from January 2022, where he debuted on 12 February against Unión Santa Fe.

Fortaleza signed Pochettino in January 2023, acquiring 80% of his economic rights from Austin FC on a deal running to the end of 2025. Rafaela-born, he had by then already crossed two continents and worn the shirts of some of Argentina's biggest clubs before settling in Brazil, where he has gone on to make more than thirty appearances for Fortaleza.
