Victor Bender

Viktor Bender wore the captain's armband for the Odense Boldklub under-19 side in his final season there, and left the club in January 2026 without having played a senior competitive match for it. Places in the first team were taken; he stayed in the youth setup.

His football began at Sanderum Boldklub, where he played from 2013 until 2020, and he grew up in Ullerslev. The move to the Odense academy came in 2020, and from there he worked upwards through the under-15, under-17 and under-19 age groups.

Molde announced the transfer on 23 January 2026. The Norwegian club signed him on a two-year contract running to 31 December 2027 and gave him the number 28 shirt. The fee was not made public; Odense secured a resale clause in the agreement. Molde's sporting director, Ole Jakob Strandhagen, described Bender as a "leader type" and as a creative midfielder with good vision and the ability to create chances.

Denmark called him up at youth level, and he made his debut for the under-19 side in 2025. By the early part of 2026 he had one cap for that team and no goals. He was named in the Denmark under-19 squad for the qualifying rounds of the 2026 UEFA European Under-19 Championship and for the finals.

The Eliteserien is his first senior environment. He arrives with an academy captaincy, a single international appearance and no senior club honours to his name, having gone straight from the Odense youth ranks into a first-team squad in another country.
