About the player
Fifteen years old, in Liga II, away against Sepsi OSK: that was Pîrvu's senior debut for FC Argeș Pitești in November 2022, and it made him one of the youngest players ever to appear for the club. He has barely left the side since.
He came through the Dănuț Coman academy in Bucharest before joining Argeș's youth system, with a spell at Marcea Sport between 2019 and 2021 in the middle of it. He returned to the Argeș youth setup in 2022, and the step up to the first team followed within months.
The years that followed were the club's climb back. Pîrvu was a regular starter through the promotion push, and Argeș went up to Liga I by winning the Liga II title in the 2024–25 season. His senior record stands at 106 appearances and eight goals across all competitions as of August 2026, with 12 assists recorded by Soccerway.
The interest from elsewhere arrived early. Red Bull Salzburg made an enquiry in December 2023; FCSB were linked in January 2024, though club president Meme Stoica dismissed the story. Pîrvu stayed, and in June 2025 he extended his contract at Pitești.
Romania have used him at every youth level from under-15 upwards — six caps and a goal at U15, ten and a goal at U16, seven and a goal at U17, then 12 at U18 and ten at U19 as of 2025. He has not yet been called up by the senior national team.
