BOA

Three Campeonato Mineiro do Interior titles, in 2009, 2014 and 2019, were won in that company.

The biggest prize came in 2016, when Boa won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C. By then the club had already moved out of its home town. In 2011, promotion to the Série B brought a change of name, from Ituiutaba Esporte Clube to Boa Esporte Clube, and a change of address: the club left for Varginha and the larger Estádio Municipal Prefeito Luiz Dilzon de Melo, known as the "Melão".

Several players passed through on the way to bigger things. Joelinton and Tchê Tchê are among them, and Marcelinho Paraíba also wore the shirt.

Relegation to the Campeonato Mineiro Segunda Divisão followed, and in July 2024 the club announced it would go back to Ituiutaba for the 2025 season. The 5,000-capacity Estádio Municipal Júlia do Prado is the ground there. The fans call the team "Corujão", the Big Owl, and also "Tricolor da Fazendinha".

The club began in Ituiutaba on 30 April 1947 as Boa Vontade Esporte Clube, and it has now returned to the town where it started.
