Bursaspor

Bursa's basketball club wears green and white, the colours of the Bursa plains and Mount Uludağ. Bursaspor, the multi-sport club founded in 1963, started a basketball section in 2014, and its teams are known as the Crocodiles, or Timsahlar in Turkish.

In 2019 it beat İTÜ Basket 91-73 in the final of the Turkish Basketball First League (TB2L), and that win took Bursaspor into the top-tier Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL) for the first time.

The 2021–22 EuroCup is what the club is best known for. Bursaspor reached the final, the first Turkish side to do so, with Dušan Alimpijević as head coach, Birkan Batuk as captain and Onuralp Bitim as top scorer. On 11 May 2022 they lost the final to Virtus Segafredo Bologna 80–67. They finished as runners-up.

Bursaspor has also brought its own players through. Mithat Özalp and Tarık Sezgün both came out of the academy.

Home games are played at the 7,500-seat Tofaş Spor Salonu. The city's other side is Tofaş S.K., and matches against them are the Bursa Derby. Sponsors' names have often been attached to the club, among them Durmazlar Bursaspor, Frutti Extra Bursaspor and Bursaspor İnfo Yatırım. Sezer Sezgin is the current president.
