Bahçeşehir Koleji play in the Basketbol Süper Ligi, the top flight of Turkish basketball. They have no derby of their own there, so they measure themselves against the Big Four: Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahçe Beko, Galatasaray and Beşiktaş. Games against Beşiktaş in the playoffs are the exception, and the Turkish press calls them the İstanbul Derbisi.

It was set up in June 2017 by the Bahçeşehir Schools Sports Club Association, which was itself formed that month. It entered the second tier for 2017–18, won the league at the first attempt and went up to the Süper Ligi for 2018–19. Within the same year it had a trophy too: in the Turkish Federation Cup final of 2018 it beat Türk Telekom 89–59.

The European title came in 2022. In the FIBA Europe Cup final, Bahçeşehir met Unahotels Reggio Emilia. They won the first leg 72–69 and took the second 90–74, 162–143 on aggregate. Marko Barac was the head coach. Jamar Smith led the scoring in the final, and the result was the club's biggest win so far.

Two years later they were back in the same final and finished as runners-up. That made two finals in three seasons for a club that had existed for less than seven years at the time of the second.

Home is the Sinan Erdem Dome, which holds 16,000 for basketball. The team plays in red and navy blue, and Turkish media call them kırmızı-lacivertliler. They remain a fixture in the Süper Ligi.
