«Challenge Red Devils»
There is no single home ground behind Challenge SC's women's side — the youth organisation out of Tomball, north-west of Houston, sends its team out onto whichever local pitch is free that week.
That pipeline goes back to 1987, when the youth club was set up in Tomball. The women's team only joined the USL W League in 2024, entering the Lone Star Division alongside Texas clubs such as Lonestar SC San Antonio and the San Antonio Athenians.
The roster that took the club into that first campaign carried more experience than its record suggested it should. Jenna Moran also featured for the side that season.
Third-party write-ups have taken to calling the team the Challenge Red Devils, though it has not been adopted as an official identity in the way the Tomball name has. What holds is the sense of a club still finding its shape at senior level: no ground of its own, no honours yet, and games still played out across the fields of Tomball and the wider Houston area.
