Lonestar II

Back-to-back Lone Star Division titles, in 2025 and 2026, carried Lonestar SC Austin into that second season's Southern Conference semi-final — where Asheville City SC shut them out, 3-0. It is as far as the club has gone in the USL W League's national playoffs.

The team plays under the banner of Lonestar Soccer Club, an Austin organisation formed in 2004 out of a merger of four local clubs — CC United Eagles, Longhorns, Warriors and Austin Flyers. Its USL W League side did not take the field until 2024, and still splits its home fixtures between fields at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex and Beck Stadium, on the campus of St. Andrew's Episcopal School back in Austin.

Three stars sit on the crest, one for each national title the wider organisation has claimed over the years. The kit itself runs white, red and black.

Its closest rival never has to travel far in spirit: Lonestar SC San Antonio, the organisation's other USL W League team, plays in the same division. Challenge SC, the San Antonio Athenians and the Hill Country Linces fill out the rest of the schedule.

Among the academy's alumni, Kekuta Manneh went on to Vancouver Whitecaps and Austin FC. Closer to home now is Jackie Pope, a former Mexico international who works inside the club's player-development staff.
