Eschen / Mauren II

The Sportpark Eschen-Mauren holds 2,000, of which only 500 are seats.

Being a Liechtenstein club, it plays its league football in Switzerland: the 3. Liga, the fourth tier, in the eastern regional group, where it has been since at least the 2019/20 season. What Liechtenstein does run is a cup, and every club registered in the Swiss pyramid has to enter it. That is the one competition in which Eschen/Mauren II meets its neighbours.

Reserve sides come in at the last sixteen, which for several years was as far as this one went. In 2022/23 it was drawn against the Balzers first team and lost 0-9. The following season brought Triesen and a defeat in extra time, 1-2, which was a different kind of evening altogether.

Then two quarter-finals in a row. In 2024/25 the side put three past Schaan II before Ruggell II won 3-1. Twelve months later it beat Balzers II 4-0 and drew the senior Balzers team, who won 4-1 — the same club that had run up nine goals three seasons earlier.

No trophies stand to the reserve team's name.
