Copa Catalunya came to FC Andorra three times, first in 1993–94, when the club beat RCD Espanyol, and again in successive seasons in 2022–23 and 2023–24.

On 30 December that year, Kosmos Holding, the investment group founded by former Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué, bought the existing club rather than starting a new one. Piqué holds 90% of Kosmos, with the remaining 10% held by Grupo Cierco. MoraBanc came on as sponsor in April 2019, and by July that year Kosmos had paid around €452,000 for the vacant Segunda B place left by the dissolution of CF Reus Deportiu.

The club plays in the Spanish league pyramid rather than Andorra's domestic championship. What it does carry is the flag: the nickname Els Tricolors, and the blue, yellow and red worked into the kit and the badge redesigned in 2021.

From 1942 to 1983 it played at Camp d'Esports de les Valls, then at Estadi Comunal d'Aixovall, holding 1,000 after a 1999 rebuild. Estadi Nacional in Andorra la Vella followed from 2021, and since the 2025/26 season the club has called Estadi de la FAF in Encamp home — 5,108 seats.
