When Deon Graham and Tommy Smith set out to build Fort Lauderdale United FC in 2024, they built it in two tiers from the start: a first team and a reserve side, listed as Fort Lauderdale Utd II, that took its place among the eight founding clubs of the USL Super League — the competition that ran then as the USL W League and carries the U.S. Soccer Federation's Division One sanction. The second team has never been an afterthought.
It competes in the Southern Conference of the USL W League, in navy blue and gold, and has yet to add a title to the club's young record. Its home matches are played at AutoNation Field, a 1,000-seat ground.
The parent club has kept building around it: a men's team is due to enter USL League One in 2026, a youth academy feeds both sides of the operation, and Affiniti signed on as kit partner in August 2026.
