Miami City

Central Broward Park sits inside the Paris Saint-Germain Academy USA campus, a training complex rather than a stand-alone football ground, and its 20,000-capacity bowl is where FC Miami City's women play their home fixtures. The team spent time earlier at Tropical Park in Miami, a smaller ground holding 7,000; some listings still carry it as a home venue, though the club's own schedule now points to Central Broward Park.

The organisation was registered on 20 January 2014, with a men's side following the year after in USL League Two. The women's team came later, entering the USL W League in 2022 as one of the founding clubs. Official filings and the stadium address list Lauderhill, Florida, as the club's home city; the club itself operates under the Miami name.

No league title has followed. FC Miami City topped the Southeast Division in the regular season in both 2022 and 2023, then went out at the quarterfinal stage of the playoffs in 2022. The club sat out the 2024 season entirely and returned for 2025.

Kerly Théus, the goalkeeper, went on to play for Haiti at the 2023 World Cup. Barbara Murillo captained Honduras and was named to the USL W League's Team of the Season in 2022; two more from the same squad, Yuzhe Zhao and Marley Salveter, later moved on to clubs in Denmark and France.

Inside the Southeast Division, Miami Athletic Club has become the fixture that matters most, though no name has attached itself to the meeting. FC Miami City's own story goes back to that January registration in 2014, before either of its teams had played a match.
