That changed in March 2022, when Miami AC announced it would field a women's side alongside its men's team and enter the USL W League. The club plays at Tropical Park Stadium, a 7,000-seat ground run by Miami-Dade Parks & Recreation.
The squad competes in the league's Southeast Division and has yet to add a trophy to its short history. What it has produced is a link to Haiti's national team: goalkeeper Kerly Théus has represented her country while playing her club football at Tropical Park, giving the side a profile beyond the Miami W League circuit. Adidas supplies the kit, in the club's sky blue and white.
