Inter de Minas U20

Kevyn Vinícius spent his youth years in goal at Estádio Municipal José Flávio de Carvalho before Nacional da Madeira signed him in 2025. Rômulo went a different route out of the same building: Atlético Mineiro took him on, loaned him out, and Internacional bought him outright in 2024. The club that shaped both of them plays out of Itaúna, in Minas Gerais.

Associação Desportiva Internacional de Minas was founded on 4 December 2014, and its under-20 side has become the part of the club with the clearest results to show. In 2022 it won the Campeonato Mineiro do Interior Sub-20, beating Coimbra Esporte Clube 3-0 on aggregate in the semi-final, a title that sent the squad to the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior the following year. Two years later the same route produced a harder lesson: a semi-final against Atlético Mineiro's academy side that Inter de Minas lost 0-1 away and 0-4 at home, a 0-5 aggregate that still carried a Copa São Paulo place for 2025.

Not every campaign closed on the pitch. In 2021, with the team sitting twelfth after the group stage, the Mineiro state disciplinary tribunal suspended the competition at the quarter-final stage over an incident at a match against Minas Boca, where no ambulance had been present.

The club now holds CBF certification as a Clube Formador, and in 2025 it struck a partnership with Flamengo. It plays in black and red.
