Coimbra U20

It was played on 13 September 2025 in Contagem, on the club's own ground rather than anywhere grander.

That ground is the Flávio Pentagna Guimarães Training Centre, on Avenida Diamante in the Sapucaia II district. It holds 1,500, which is the number that matters most about the youth team's home football.

The under-20 team is not a club in its own right. It is the youth structure of Coimbra Esporte Clube, the Contagem side that holds the players' registrations and moves them on — one midfielder it owned went out on loan to the under-20 squad at Corinthians.

Black and white are the registered colours, though the nickname the club carries is Mechanical Orange . In 2025 the name on the crest changed again, to Coimbra FC Porto, after the tie-up with the Portuguese club.

All of it runs back to a single registration at the Minas Gerais football federation: Coimbra Esporte Clube Ltda., founded on 5 January 2006. The youth side came with it, as youth sides in Brazil do — no separate founding, no separate date.
