Jia Hua

Jia Hua finished third in the Liga de Elite in 2026, on 38 points from 18 matches: 12 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats, with 52 goals scored and 28 conceded.

The improvement came through attack and through a few heavy scorelines. They beat Artilheiros 7-0 in January and Benfica Macau 5-0 in June. In July they lost 0-7 to Chiba FC, and the season still ended in the top three.

The result against Benfica carried extra weight because Benfica de Macau were the opponents in the 2024 Macau FA Cup final, which Jia Hua won 2-0. It remains the club's only major trophy, and the league title has not come their way. Benfica, CPK (Chao Pak Kei) and Lun Lok are the sides they measure themselves against, and games with Benfica draw the most attention.

Jia Hua have no ground of their own. Like other Macau clubs, they play at government-owned venues, mostly the Estádio Campo Desportivo, which holds 16,272, or the Lin Fong Sports Centre.

The club is known in Chinese as 佳華足球隊, and in some contexts as Gala Jia Hua.
