Universidade de Macau

Universidade de Macau finished bottom of the Liga de Elite with three points from eighteen games, three draws against fifteen defeats, a goal difference of -61. The club grew out of the University of Macau, an institution founded in 1991, and its football section was only set up in 2016, entering straight into the Third Division.

In the Second Division it placed fourth in the regular stage and third in the promotion playoffs in 2022, and by 2025 — ten years after the team was formed — it had reached the top flight for the first time.

Home games are played at the Macau Olympic Complex Stadium in Taipa. The club carries no honours from the top division and no nickname beyond its own name.

Its function has shown itself less in results than in the players it sends on: several of the squad, among them Xiao Rongrui, Sou Hin Nang and Ieong Lek Hang, have since been called into the Macau national team.
