Hang Sai

Jia Hua and Sporting Clube de Macau stand as the clubs Hang Sai measures itself against, without either meeting ever earning a name of its own. On 16 June 2019, in the first round of the Taça de Macau, the two sides ran up a scoreline of 21–18 — not a collapse in defending but a protest, staged by players on both teams after the Macau Football Association pulled the national side out of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying. The Association later struck the result from the record.

Founded in 2009, the club spent its early years working toward a place among Macau's leading sides, and got there in 2017, when it won the 2ª Divisão de Macau and moved up to the Liga de Elite for the first time. Matches are played at the Lin Fong Stadium, known locally as the Lin Fong Sports Centre, in front of a ground that holds 2,000. The kit runs sky blue at home, dark navy away, and the club has carried sponsored names over the years, among them Cheng Fung Hang Sai.

Among the players who have worn the shirt, the Liga de Elite title has stayed out of reach since promotion, and so has the Taça de Macau — the closest the club came to lifting the cup ending instead in an annulled scoreline that told the football association more than it told the table.
