Chiba

Su Zhenyu went to study in Australia and came back to Macau with the idea of starting a team of his own. He founded Chiba in 2002 and then stayed on as its captain, so for years the man who ran the club was also the one wearing the armband. The red shirts with white shorts and socks date from that start.

The club has gone by several names. For most of its history it competed as Chiba Sport. In 2024 it took the name Ivo Chiba , and that season it earned promotion to the Liga de Elite. Ivo Chiba finished second in the 2ª Divisão, the second tier. The club has never won a senior title, whether the league or the Taça de Macau.

The first season back among the best clubs in Macau ended in sixth place in 2025.

Alongside the senior team the club runs a training programme for children aged 3 to 13. Players such as Leong Tak-Wai, Cheok Ka Fai and Leong Hok Him have been associated with the club, all of them Macau footballers.

Home games are played at the Lin Fong Sports Centre, which holds 2,200 people.
