Jungnang Chorus Mustang

Twelve wins, four draws, no defeats — that was the record Seoul Jungnang FC posted on its way to the 2017 K3 League Basic title, and the 40 points from that campaign earned the club its only major honour, along with promotion to the K3 League Advanced. It was the inaugural season of that division.

The story behind the crest runs back to 1982, when a lawyer named Lee Min-geol founded the Aram Football Club. Mustang Football Club through the 1990s, then a run as Dongdaemun Mustang while based in Myeonmok-dong, then Jungnang Mustang, then Jungnang Chorus Mustang from 2012, when the club entered the national league system in its current form. The name was trimmed to Seoul Jungnang FC in 2017, though the older title still sits on the emblem — yellow for the passion of the old Mustang side, blue for the ideals and dreams layered on top of it.

In the FA Cup, the club's furthest run came in 2014, reaching the round of 32 before going out to Busan IPark on penalties. There was a local needle match too: against Nowon United, known among the capital's semi-professional clubs as the Seoul Derby, a fixture that ended when Nowon dissolved in January 2024.
