Kalighat

Kalighat Milan Sangha take their games in the Calcutta Premier Division, the top flight of Kolkata's regional league, where since the 2023 restructuring the club sits in a merged Group I. The national stage has stayed out of reach: the club has never featured in the I-League or the National Football League, and its best finish came in 2014, third place in the final round of the I-League 2nd Division.

The club dates to 1944, and its cabinet holds trophies for age — four Calcutta Football League Second Division titles, taken in 2003, 2008, 2018–19 and 2022, plus the All Airlines Gold Cup in 2011. The top division of the Calcutta league has never gone to Kalighat.

Home matches are played at Rabindra Sarobar Stadium, with room for 22,000. The team takes the field in yellow sleeves over a blue body, blue shorts and socks; supporters call them Milan Sangha, or simply the Kalighat boys.

Krishanu Dey took charge of the side in the 2000s. Further back stands Santosh Nandi, who wore the club's colours before going on to captain India at the 1948 Olympics.
