Lexington Women

Lexington SC enter USL Super League action with the crown already on. The club finished bottom of the eight-team table in its debut campaign, 2024/25, and missed the playoffs entirely — then turned the following season into the opposite story, taking the Players' Shield for the best regular-season record and following it with the playoff title.

There was no team in Lexington before this one. The club was founded on 5 October 2021 as the women's side of Lexington Sporting Club, without a prior identity to draw on, and spent its early seasons in the semi-professional USL W League, finishing third and fourth in the Valley Division without lifting a trophy there. The step up came in May 2023, when the club was confirmed as one of the founding members of the USL Super League, and the first match in that competition followed on 25 August 2024.

Home games are played at Lexington SC Stadium, built to hold 7,500 with room to grow to 11,000.

The regular-season and playoff double arrived in 2025/26, the club's second season in the Super League.
