Motorlet Praha did exactly that, more or less continuously, since it was founded in 1912 as Sportovní kroužek Butovice. A year later it was SK Butovice, by 1930 SK Praha XVII, and after 1948, folded into the Sokol movement, it became Sokol Jinonice.
The one season anyone still points to is 1963–64, when Spartak Motorlet Praha reached the Czechoslovak first division. It stayed one season: 14th out of 14, a single win, five draws, twenty defeats, 13 goals scored against 67 conceded, and straight back down. Hemele played on as a player-coach into 1964, seeing the job through to its only reward.
It is the academy that gives the place its current currency: Antonín Kinský came through it before Tottenham Hotspur paid a transfer fee of €15m for him.
