Odder

In the second round of the Danish Cup in 2010, a club that had spent its entire existence in the lower reaches of the domestic pyramid lost 0–1 to AGF and went back to the divisions where it had always played.

The route out of those divisions was mapped a long way in advance. In 1993, under chairman Bent Villumsen, the club set itself the target of reaching the third tier. It took twenty years. Promotion to the 2nd Division arrived in 2013, the first time in 114 years that Odder IGF had climbed that high, and the side then held its place for six seasons before dropping back to the Denmark Series at the end of 2018/19.

The club has carried the same name since the spring of 1899, when it was set up in the town of Odder as Odder Idræts- og Gymnastikforening. No mergers, no rebranding, no absorption into a larger neighbour.

Home matches are played at Spektrum Park, also known as Spektrum Odder. Blue is the home colour, white the away.

The Denmark Series title in 2023/24 sent the club back up. Two seasons later it came down again, finishing eleventh of twelve.
