Queimadense U20

Queimadas is a small town in the interior of Paraíba, and when a group there wanted a club to play for it, the answer was Sociedade Esportiva Queimadense, formed in November 2003. The senior side eventually gave the town something to hold onto, taking the Campeonato Paraibano Segunda Divisão in 2007 and coming within a final of a second title in 2022. The U20 side grew out of that same structure, sent out each year into the Campeonato Paraibano Sub-20 and, when it qualifies, into the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior. No trophy has followed yet at this level; the closest the young side has come is a semifinal run in the 2026 Paraibano Sub-20.

There is no clubhouse website to speak of — Queimadense runs its presence through social media, in keeping with a side its size — but the shirt carries its own identity: red with blue sleeves at home, plain white away.

The ground gives the town somewhere to gather for it. Estádio Saulo Ernesto Leal de Melo, known locally as Ernestão, opened in August 2022 and holds 1,000 people.
