Treze U20

Campina Grande sits inland in the state of Paraíba, and the black and white of Treze Futebol Clube has been part of how the city spends its weekends since the club was formed on 7 September 1925. The academy that carries the Treze U20 badge trains under the same colours, the vertical black-and-white stripes worn since the club's earliest days, and the same nickname as the senior side, the Borborema Rooster — shortened, more often than not, to simply the Rooster.

That identity carries a long list of state titles: the senior side have won the Campeonato Paraibano seventeen times, the first in 1940 and the most recent in 2023, with titles collected through the 1980s and again in the 2000s. There was also a Torneio Paralelo crown in 1986, a competition some record books treat as a second-tier national title, though the CBF never ratified it as such.

Home matches are still played at the Estádio Presidente Vargas, a ground Treze have used since long before any player in the current age-group squad was born. Official listings now put its capacity at 8,885, though older club records cite a peak closer to 10,000 for the nights Campina Grande has packed in wearing black and white.
