The Stade Municipal de USFAS holds only 5,000 people, and it belongs to the same institution that owns the club: the Malian Army. That ownership shapes everything else about USFAS Bamako, and still fielding sides in yellow shirts with blue shoulders and blue shorts.
A league title has never come USFAS's way.
Abdou Traoré passed through the club before representing Mali at the 2004 Olympics, and more recently Sambou Sissoko played for USFAS in 2019 ahead of a move to Djoliba AC and then on to Europe.
For the 2025-2026 season, USFAS Bamako has merged with AS Police de Bamako, joining the army's club to the police's.
