Wanderers Football Park sits inside the Blacktown International Sportspark at Rooty Hill. It holds about 1,500, of which roughly a thousand are seats in the single grandstand. Those players run out at CommBank Stadium in front of 30,000. The under-20s stay in the park.

That district is why there is a club at all. Western Sydney Wanderers were assembled in 2012, after Gold Coast United's A-League licence was revoked and the competition needed a team in the west of Sydney.

The youth side plays in the NPL NSW Youth League, in the same red and black hoops. It has no title of its own to point to, and the measure of it has always been who comes out the other end. Daniel Arzani is the one everybody names. Keanu Baccus and Jaushua Sotirio also came up here before senior football elsewhere; Liam Bonetig went to Celtic B.
