Deportivo Capital hosted Deportivo Santaní at the Intermedia ground on the afternoon of 13 September. The visitors took all three points with a single strike in the second half. W. Casanova netted the decisive goal at the 78th minute.

By then the match had settled into a rhythm neither side could break. Capital pressed forward with more attacks and corners, but Santaní kept their side in it through disciplined defending. And here's the thing — the away side needed only one clear chance to make the difference.
