André Pronovost, Four-Time Stanley Cup Champion, Dies at 90
The Canadiens forward won the Cup four straight years from 1957 to 1960 and later played for Boston, Detroit and Minnesota before retiring in 1968.
Montreal have not given a cause of death.
Pronovost was part of the Canadiens side that took the Cup four years running, from 1957 to 1960. He also played for the Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota North Stars, a franchise now known as the Dallas Stars. His NHL career ran to 556 matches, with 94 goals and 104 assists, and closed in 1968.
