Eyüpspor came from behind to beat Alanyaspor 2:1 in the Süper Lig at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium. Alanyaspor took an early lead through A. Usluoglu in the first minute, but Eyüpspor responded with two second-half goals to complete the turnaround. The match turned after O. Pulat was sent off in the 52nd minute, leaving the visitors with ten men for the remainder.
Usluoglu's goal came almost immediately, catching Eyüpspor off guard before they could settle. Abdullahi levelled things up in the 39th minute, and the momentum shifted after Pulat's dismissal. Eyüpspor dominated from that point, creating four big chances against one for the visitors. By then the visitors were pinned back, defending deep while their opponents cut them open at will.
Eyüpspor held 63 per cent of possession and launched 120 attacks compared to 56 for Alanyaspor. They registered 1.48 expected goals against 0.66 for the visitors, though shots accuracy showed they wasted opportunities. The visitors managed only two shots on target all match, while Eyüpspor hit the woodwork and missed clear-cut chances. Things came to a head in the dying moments when Jules struck in stoppage time.
The result leaves Eyüpspor on three points in 14th place after three games, while Alanyaspor remain in 10th with four points. The home side have now lost two of their opening three matches, but this victory breaks a run of defeats. The away side's clean-sheet hopes came to an end after their earlier promise.
