Puertocabello saw off Academia de Anzoategui 2-0 in the Clausura round six of the Venezuelan first division on Sunday night. The hosts took all three points at home, extending their unbeaten run while leaving their visitors further adrift in the table.
E. Pernia opened the scoring in the fourth minute, a goal that caught the visitors off-guard.
