Chima Okoroji

Chima Okoroji was born in Munich and came up through the Bayern Munich youth system before moving on to FC Augsburg's second team and then SC Freiburg II. He made his senior debut for SC Freiburg in 2018, with loan spells at SSV Jahn Regensburg and SC Paderborn 07. A free transfer took him to SV Sandhausen in 2021, where he played for two seasons before joining FC St. Gallen.

At St. Gallen, playing as a left-back, Okoroji became part of a squad that won the Swiss Cup, starting and playing the full ninety minutes as the club beat FC Stade Lausanne-Ouchy 3–0 in the final.

Okoroji has German citizenship and, through his mother and father, is also eligible to play for England and Nigeria respectively. He was linked with a call-up to the Nigerian national team in 2019, but has not won a cap for any of the three countries and remains available for international selection through his heritage.
