Gabriel Knesowitsch

Before Londrina, thirteen clubs looked at Gabriel and said no. He had started out at FC Cascavel's under-17s, and it took repeated rejection before a side finally took him on. Londrina brought him through its youth ranks, and he made his senior debut for the club in February 2022, going on to become a regular starter and scoring four goals in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B during the 2023 season. That form earned him a contract renewal in October 2023, and three months later, in January 2024, Cuiabá paid a reported €750,000 to sign him.

At Cuiabá, Gabriel was part of the squad that won the Campeonato Mato-Grossense in 2024, adding goals in both Série A and the state championship that year. Cuiabá finished as runners-up in the same state competition in 2025, and the club has since extended his contract to the end of 2028.

Mirassol first took him on loan after the 2025 Paulistão to strengthen the squad for that year's Brasileirão, a spell in which he started four matches before returning to Cuiabá when the loan expired at the end of December 2025. He is now back at Mirassol on a second loan, this time running through the rest of the 2026 season and into mid-2027, with Mirassol covering his full salary and holding an option to buy.

Gabriel also holds a Polish passport through his family background, alongside Austrian and German descent.
