About the player
Tairiz Pintus captained Zurich's under-17 side to the Swiss Youth League title in the 2024/25 season. Across youth and reserve football that season he kept eleven clean sheets in 23 appearances. He joined the FC Zurich first-team squad in August 2025.
Pintus has never played for another club. Since moving up to the first-team squad he has been named among the unused substitutes for several Swiss Super League matches, while continuing to play for FC Zurich II in the Promotion League.
Born in Switzerland, Pintus is also eligible to play for Ghana through his father, Kweku Duah, who has said publicly that he is ready to see his son represent the Ghanaian national team. Pintus has not yet been capped at senior or youth level by either country.
