About the player
Liang came up through the Guangzhou FC academy before making his senior move to Meizhou Hakka. He left as a free agent in April 2022 and signed for Suzhou Dongwu. He was a key contributor as Suzhou Dongwu won the China League Two title in 2023, a result that took the club up to China League One.
The step up a division did not slow him down. In the 2024 China League One season he scored nine goals, and in 2025 he made 29 appearances, adding a goal and an assist as the team pushed for further progress.
In January 2026 he moved on again on a free transfer to Chongqing Tongliang Long, the renamed identity of the Suzhou Dongwu entity, as the club prepared for a first season in the Chinese Super League.
Liang has represented China at U21 and U22 level, turning out for the youth sides in friendly matches during 2023, though he has not yet been capped by the senior national team.
