About the player
Yu-Hai Ng made his senior debut at Eastern SC in 2023 and quickly became part of a squad that won the Hong Kong FA Cup and the Hong Kong Senior Shield during his time there, scoring four goals in 16 league appearances in his first season and five in 33 appearances overall. In January 2025 he moved to Chongqing Tongliang Long in the Chinese Super League, a transfer reported at around €95,000.
The switch to Chinese football brought regular league minutes rather than goals: by May 2026 he had made 21 league appearances for Chongqing without finding the net. His most eye-catching moment for the club came on the continental stage, with a goal against Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the AFC Champions League Two in December 2024.
Ng has also established himself with Hong Kong's national side. He was capped for the first time on 5 September 2024 against the Solomon Islands, and by June 2026 had earned nine caps, scoring his first international goal against Mongolia on 5 June 2026 in a 2–0 friendly win.
