Dinamo Ferizaj

Feronikeli 74 has become the fixture Dinamo Ferizaj measures itself against, and last season the ledger tilted their way: 2–1 in August, then 1–0 when the sides met again in February 2025. Neither result changed a table by much, but in a club with no top-flight history, beating the neighbours twice in a season counts for something on its own.

Dinamo Ferizaj was founded in 2006, registered originally in the village of Hajvali near Ferizaj before the club settled its base in the city itself, also known as Uroševac. The badge has stayed blue and white throughout — blue shirts, shorts and socks at home, white on the road.

Progress has come in increments rather than titles. In 2022/23 the club went through Liga e Dytë, the third tier, unbeaten in its group — 12 wins and 3 draws from 15 matches — and earned promotion into Liga e Parë. The following season it finished second in Group A there, close enough to the Superliga to reach the promotion play-off semi-final against Prishtina e Re, a tie that finished 3–3 after extra time and was lost only on penalties, 3–4. That defeat remains the nearest the club has come to Kosovo's top division; 2024/25 brought a quieter fourth-place finish in the same group, and in the Kupa e Kosovës the run has stalled at the last sixteen in each of the last two seasons.

The clearest name to come out of the youth setup is Albin Krasniqi, who spent from 2000 to 2017 in the Dinamo system before moving on through Ferizaj's other clubs and abroad, and who has since been capped by Kosovo. Matches at home are played at Stadiumi Ismet Shabani, which holds 2,000.

What Dinamo Ferizaj has not yet done is turn any of this into a place in the Superliga. The penalty shootout against Prishtina e Re is still the closest it has come, and the trophy cabinet, for now, holds only the record of how it got that far.
