Five championships in a row, 2022 to 2026, sit next to Frankfurt's name in the roll of German rugby titles — and it follows a sixth title taken in 2019 after a wait that had stretched back to 2008.
The black and red go back to 1894, awarded after a match against Blackheath in London gave the Frankfurt side the right to wear its opponents' colours, and the club has kept them ever since.
Neuenheim is still the name that matters most.
Home games are watched from the Sportanlage an der Feldgerichtstrasse, which holds 5,000. The name the academy is proudest of now is Anton Segner, who left Frankfurt for New Zealand and in 2026 became the first German-born player picked for the All Blacks.
