In 2022 the club's team took the PGNiG Summer Superliga, beating MKS Delfin Grudziądz in the final.

The handball section grew out of the multi-sport club UKS GOKiS Kąty Wrocławskie in the early 2000s, and it only became its own legal body, the Stowarzyszenie Piłki Ręcznej GOKiS Kąty Wrocławskie, in 2014, once the men's senior side had earned promotion to the I Liga. It plays under sponsorship as SPR Purina Kąty Wrocławskie and is known locally by the nickname Bystrzyca — a name it shares with, but a club it has nothing to do with, the town's football side, KS Bystrzyca Kąty Wrocławskie.

Indoors, the senior team's best moment came in the 2019/2020 season, when it finished runner-up in the II Liga.
