Spartak and Javor Share Points in First League Draw
Спартак Здрепцева КРВ played out a 2-2 draw with Явор in the Прва Лига on Monday evening. The result keeps both sides in the middle of the table, with the hosts eighth on nine points and the visitors fifth on eleven. It was a match decided by four goals across ninety minutes, and neither side could claim more than a share of the spoils.
Enzo gave the home side the lead in the 19th minute, but N. Todosijevic levelled things quickly, striking in the 23rd to make it one apiece. A. Trajkovic restored Spartak's advantage before the break, heading in from close range in the 43rd minute. The hosts held that edge until the second half when D. Ristic found the net in the 79th minute to rescue a point for Явор.
There were substitutions all over the pitch, with both managers making changes to shift momentum. M. Nikolic and K. Saliman came on together for Spartak at the restart, while L. Konstantinov was replaced by N. Djokic in the 56th minute. The visitors brought on J. Mulato for A. Trajkovic in the 71st minute, and Enzo was also taken off in the 85th minute. Eight yellow cards were shown in total, with N. Bastajic, M. Kolakovic, L. Peic, L. Konstantinov, B. Cande, V. Desnica, S. Vilotic, N. Todosijevic, N. Djokic, M. Mirosavljev, and L. Subotic all carded at various stages.
Спартак Здрепцева КРВ arrived with mixed recent form, having drawn 2-2 with ТСК Бачка Топола on their last outing but also losing 2-4 to Телеоптик earlier in August. Явор came in with a 3-0 win over Единство Уб on their most recent match, though they had dropped points in a 1-1 draw with ТСК Бачка Топола before that. The result does little to separate the two sides in the standings — Явор remain two points clear of the hosts, but neither has pulled away.
Four goals, two substitutions per side at key moments, and a late equalizer that gave the visitors something to take back home. The match ended with both teams still looking for consistency in this early stage of the season.
