About the player
He came up through the academy at Zvijezda 09, staying with the club through their U19 side's run in the UEFA Youth League in the 2021/22 season and remaining there until the summer of 2023.
A loan to Radnik Bijeljina followed in August 2023, though Janjić returned to Zvijezda before the year was out. The stay back home was brief: on 1 January 2024 he signed permanently for Radnik. It was there, in the 2024/25 season, that he established himself as a regular starter in the Bosnian Premier League.
In July 2025, Janjić left Bosnia altogether, joining Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk on a free transfer and signing a contract running to June 2029. He made his debut for the club in the 2025/26 season.
