Wille Carl-Johan Jakobsson

Wille Jakobsson made his Allsvenskan debut for IFK Norrköping on 17 July 2021, coming on against AIK in a match that finished 1–1. It remained a rare outing during his time at the club: between 2021 and 2024 he made just two official appearances for Norrköping, most of his development instead coming out on loan. He spent a spell back at Eskilstuna City in 2018, the club where his career had started to take shape after moving there from Arboga Södra IF, and later went out to IF Sylvia, where he made 23 appearances in Division 1 across the 2021–2022 loan.

His path to senior football ran through AFC Eskilstuna, where he broke into the first team in 2018 and had racked up 17 Superettan appearances by 2020, a run that led to his move to Norrköping in March 2021. With first-team chances limited there, he signed for Degerfors IF on a free transfer in January 2024, agreeing a contract to 2026. The switch gave him a settled run of games: he made 21 appearances in the 2024 Superettan season and kept four clean sheets. He has continued as Degerfors' goalkeeper into the 2025 Allsvenskan campaign, with three appearances and four goals conceded so far.

Jakobsson has also come through the Swedish youth international set-up, representing the country at U16, U17 and U21 level. His U21 caps include a 2–2 draw with Denmark and an 8–1 win over Azerbaijan, both played in November 2022 friendlies. He has not been called up to the senior Sweden squad.
