OSI Women

Domus Athletica sits on Trimveien, and it is there that OSI's Eliteserien women play their volleyball.

OSI began in 1882 as the Norske Studenters Gymnastikk- og Fægteforening, a gymnastics and fencing society for students. It merged with Studentenes Idrettsforening in 1937 and took its present name, Oslostudentenes Idrettsklubb, only in 1988. Volleyball is one branch of that older trunk, and it wears the parent club's red, black and white rather than colours of its own.

The section runs without a formal academy. The 2017–18 squad, with Maren Hatlestad, Siri Elen Brattli, Maja Lind Sande and Negina Mamadova on the roster, is the version of the team most worth naming for that reason.

Koll Volleyball and BSI Volleyball are the clubs OSI measures itself against in the city's volleyball scene, though neither meeting has earned itself a derby name, and the games are marked in the fixture list like any other. What holds is the address: a student hall on Trimveien, still filling on match nights with the sort of crowd a university sports society draws.
