A single Norwegian Championship sits on Oslo Volley's record, won in 2013, with four NM-cup titles, in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017, with Nyborg VBK on the losing side of the first three finals before BK Tromsø took that place in 2017.

The name Oslo Volley dates only to 1999, when the club was set up to carry on the elite women's volleyball teams that had played under KFUM/Oslo. That earlier identity is why the club's own account of its cup history reaches back past its own founding, crediting KFUM/Oslo with three NM-cup wins in 1982, 1985 and 1989 before the Oslo Volley name existed at all.

The club now competes in the Mizunoligaen, the top tier of Norwegian women's volleyball, wearing red and white. Its matches against NTNUI, Koll, Randaberg, Volda and BK Tromsø fill the regular calendar, played at Nydalen Idrettshall, a hall built in 2011 alongside Nydalen videregående skole in the Nydalen district.

Behind the results are a few hundred members who keep the club running season to season, in a sport where Oslo Volley's name has stood on its own, without a nickname attached to it, since the switch from KFUM/Oslo more than two decades ago.
